First of all, I don't like Elmo one bit. The classics are the best, and Elmo isn't a classic. He's way too saccharine. And I agree that many of us do have similar tastes. For instance, I've noticed that I and many others of us like: muppets Stephen King Monty Python There's probably more, too. We could start some kind of WAY NJC thread by comparing favorite this and that. How bout it? We'd need to have a set of definite questions, though. Guess that's all for now. Oh yeah, as far as Christmas songs go, I think Jethro Tull's Christmas Song, a wonderful little Christmas ditty (with a moral lesson, would you believe?!!!) would be nice, but I'm biased toward Tull anyway. later gators, newt p.s. - I was reading the liner notes to POY the other day and it just hit me that the group that played with Jewel on WWSYS was the Stray GATORS. It was then I turned on the Lauren Hutton show and her quest was of course Jewel. Well I had never heard of this person before and she could have been a writer, a poet, a singer, a ex-president's daughter I didn't know( she turned out to be all of the above except for a ex-president's daughter). Just to watch her speak with the emotion in her voice and the passion of her beautiful eyes(those eyes speak volumes more than a word could even relate) blew me away. I was entranced by this person then I listened to her songs of woven emotion and this person had earned a lifelong fan.
