(I'm not bragging or anything, but I have been online for 8h 20m) Where was I. After the show, I didn't think things could get better (or worse). Sure, I missed the press conference photo shoot, but I have a good memory, right? I saw her leave out the back stage door, and thought that it was over. We couldn't really expect her to hang out, could we. I was in the lounge of theater, when I saw someone running outside. I knew what was going on. I slipped outside, not difficult for me to do. And there she was, looking as beautiful as ever. And there I was, wearing the same clothes I had on 300 miles and 18 hour ago. No camera, no CD to sign, nothing cool to say. I stood there for about 20 minutes, about five feet back from the polite mob, with a stupid grin on my face. I waited until I saw an opportunity, and walked up with my t-shirt, and she signed it, with only two layers cotton between my hand and her Sharpie. I was careful not to touch her. I didn't want my insignifigance to rub off. I muttered a sheepish "thank you", took one step back and knocked the pile of things that people had given to her off the narrow fence po1st they were balancing on. I had them back up before they hit the ground. She was a trooper, and stayed until everyone was satisfied, although you could tell she wanted to go home. If only I had a shower and a clean set of clothes... I rode with Steve Ito, and Christine, and James "The Man" Judd (James, I am a big fan of yours) to the convenient store, and then to Pinecrest, where I stayed for a few minutes, where I found Peter for Virginia, and we kept eachother awake on the long ride back to camp. To make a long story short, it was great, but I was stupid. I got a little lost in NYC on the way back, but I did find a sign in the city that said "Jewel Ave 1 Mile" I was going to stop and take a picture, but that is hard to do in 70MPH traffic in the city. So, if any one has a picture of a guy who looks (I got estimates as high as 40) older, but is really 18, and wearing a white t-shirt with a picture of a drag racer on it, let me know. I will pay money. I will sell little sister if Jewel is also in the picture. For those of you who were at JS, and are wondering who I am, I was the girl with short brown hair hanging out with red-headed Dean Harris, and shaved head, goatee, guitar (now with a cool angel drawn on it by you know who) toting, Greg. All I can say is that it was great how everyone got along so well, and that I'm glad Dean and Greg weren't psycho killers. We got to meet some really great people also. A few that come to mind are Navy Jay, Wiggy Amy and her Mom, and Angelica. We talked to Mike Connell and Dan Stark briefly, and they are extremely nice people. Wish I had met them earlier, and could have talked with them more. I'd also like to mention the guest book, and the address book. I believe Wiggy Amy supplied them, (if I'm wrong feel free to correct me) and they were cool. The blue velvet cover was great, so two thumbs up to Amy. Without going into great detail, it was the concert of a lifetime. Sorry to the people who were unable to attend, I don't mean to put salt in open wounds. Allison p.s. Are you happy Dean?
