I'd loved to see her again if only to hear "Crazy" again. Second question, does anyone have a boot with a good copy of "Angel Needs a Ride" I really fell in love with that song for some reason after hearing it live and I realized the only copy I have is from the 5-3-95 Seattle show which is partialy cut. Jewel was at the very end of the piece. She was singing Pieces of you and had just sung "Do you want to bash in his brains?", when the frisbee cam flying in. It hit her on the left side of her chest and left arm, right on the guitar strap. You could see she kind of put her head down a little and smirked, trying to figure out what to do next. So she kind of waved with her right arm, said "Thank You", pulled the plug out of Big Blue and walked off stage. Kurt Loder had a nice little comment like "Subtle touch there". Jewel was just totally amazing, Patty too. Did anyone else notice that Miss Kilcher kinda half-yodelled "Catch A Cold with Me" It was completely cool. After the show, I pulled out my MOM cd, and got her autograph accrossed it. She kinda shocked me after that. Said something like, "This CD is wierd... It's kinda like ROCK, ROCK, ROCK, then me, then ROCK, ROCK, ROCK." I proceeded to tell her I loved Quiet Warrior, (I like the fact that she stands out from everybody else.) then stumbled away to gain my composure. Sorry, everybody if I was a little speechless... this was just totally amazing. Well now, it's time to start work on the e-zine dedicated to Jewel. I extend my invitation to anyone with that really great picture from JS, the strangest experience getting there or going home, or anything else you would like to see in electronic print with your name on it as a thank you to Jewel for working her butt off for her fans. My mailbox is ready and waiting. After it's all put together, I'll try to get it out to as many of you as possible.
