Just wanted to leave a note to the general list public about the camping plans. The campers will be camping at a large group site (camps 50) at Steve's Campsite (yes, that is the name) outside Phonecia. It's about a twenty minute drive to Bearsville. I reserved the site for Weds. Thurs., Fri., and Sat. Campers will be arriving Wednesday, staying awhile, and can leave as late as Saturday afternoon. Campsite activities that have been discussed: frisbee inter- ception tournament, roast marshmellows, naked fireside danc- ing, Jewel sing-alongs, a pool party, and general blissful chaos. If anyone would like to join our Jamboree there is a few spots left on Thursday night. (Non-campers are required to at least visit and pay homage to the Camp Jewel; it is, after all, the future location of Jewelton.) Contact me today or tomorrow morning for more details or directions. I will say that I prefer 7 card stud and/or 5 card draw to 5 card stud, but I'll play anything. The game just happened to be 5 stud this weekend. Now that I think about it, this might not be a bad idea for the late evening hours. Let's see. Huge EA picnic during the afternoon. Listen to Patti & the one and only Jewel during the evening. Poker late evening. Maybe sleep some. Start over Friday afternoon. I can dig it.
