Me, Mike, and Akira checked out Woodstock for all of you and heres some info for ya... First heres directions to Woodstock: 1. if your coming from the Thurway in New York ( 87)..get off at exit 20..Saugerties. When you get to the toll booth there will be a sign for Woodstock..follow that....this should put you on route 212 West...follow this road....this will bring you right in to the middle of Woodstock. If you keep following this it will bring you right to the Venue ( more on that later). 2. Camping, RV's, pop up campers, etc can stay at the following: A. KOA..camp ground..this will be on the right hand side of the road (212 west)...they have a big yellow sign out front..you shouldn't miss it. Rates are around $20 a night for just a spot. If you want water, electricty, etc..it's extra. I don't have the phone number with me thou ( it must be in Mike's car) but you can call information for that. If you plan on staying there mention your part of "Jewelstock" ...you might get a discount!! B. Kenneth Wilson Public campground......follow route 212 west....go past Bear's Cafe and stop light....bear to the left and follow the arrow. Follow this road till you come to a dead end. There will be a sign that says Mt. Tremper & Phoenia....take a right here....the camp ground will be on the left hand side. Prices start at $12 a night. Checkout time is 11am. The only problem with staying here is that Micheal ( the owner) doesn't except credit cards. So you have to send him a check or money order BEFORE you arrive. Ask him for details and tell him Jewelstock sent you:) Directions there: Exit 20 (Saugertius). Follow sign to Woodstock ..this will be route 212 west...take a left on to route 375..you'll see a sign for Pinecrest Lodge about 1/2 a mile up the road. Theres also..The Woodstock Inn. In the small section with quotes, the infamous Conan joke about Jewel's frisbee incident is quoted. Jewel in the TV Guide twice! It's only a matter of time before she has her own show.
