Jewel Unplugged oops, nevermind on the blue ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Silver Kat Date: Tue, 04 Jun 1996 18:00:49 +0000 Subject: Lyrics, T-Shirt, Frisbee etc... Hi there, Just thought I'd mention that a while ago I transcribed QUITE a few songs (1000 Miles Away, She Cries, Kiss Your Ass, Ride Away, Studies In Love # 12, Deep Water... etc) The new people may not have seen my posts and I don't know if they were ever (or are) archived or not but thought I'd mention it so people don't waste their time transcribing songs already done... But good job to all the people who are currently transcribing... James Reach - Where is the lyric archive located? Or Aaron? Blah blah blah... My thoughts on the T-Shirt are: I like the ringer idea... I never wear T-Shirts for one thing... When I saw Tori and I looked at the shirts I was surprised to see two different typed of ringers (by colour only) And I got it... And love it... Has her piano with "Blood Roses" lyrics surrounding it... It's one of the nicest T-Shirts I've seen... The longsleeve was quite nice too... Letters To Cleo did a ringer shirt to for their shows too, as did Eve's Plum... ANYWAY, back to Jewel... For all the people like me who don't wear T-Shirts should go for the ringer... A white one with whatever picture/lyric type deal with light blue neck and sleeves would be ideal (Pieces Of You colours) I'd think... But then again I do dress tacky sometimes so I'd go with green - be it lime or another... Even thought they're considered trendy I think it's a good idea... They look better (depending on what you like) than just plain T-Shirts... But it's just a thought...Maybe two different shirts should be considered/made? I think the frisbee thing was interesting... She definitely did a good job by walking off... =) I feel bad though... Hopefully she's not too hurt by it... While I'm posting... Once again, if anyone has any new Tori 96 radio or full shows let me know... Also if anyone has Tori on Regis or Conan (recent appearances) let me know also... My Jewel list is constantly growing - as is my entire list - so all you traders out there email me... If anyone would be interested in my zine (a poetry and stream of conciousness and ideas zine) let me know, I'll be finishing it shortly... Ummmm.... That's about it Have fun, Kim "So you're drinking for the pleasure of falling and you're falling for the pleasure of pretending that I'm sitting by the window waiting for you to come calling..." ------------------------------ From: pjk@cybercom.net (Philip J. I have sent my design to James.Judd@Eng.Auburn.EDU I think we should have him be at central site for all design ideas at http://www.auburn.edu/~juddjam/pics/tshirt/index.html As for multiple design it would not make much of a price difference if we had two or three design however it would make my job dishing them out much more difficult. Secondly, wasn't one of the main ideas for the shirts that we would be able to find each other at shows? Having multiple designs contradicts this and if we all wear the same shirt and stand together Jewel will be sure to see the "Everyday Angels" at any show. If we keep it simple and tasteful a nice Everydau Angels logo and the address prominently displayed I'm sure no one would mind wearing. I am leaning towards royal blue or emerald (jade, whatever just not lime) green and away from the so called "ringer" shirt which many people may not care for. pjk - -- "I weep for the death of the spirit and the soul." - Tom Servo ------------------------------ From: Lisa Schiller Date: Tue, 04 Jun 1996 17:36:11 -0500 Subject: Innerchange Tapes As you probably read in an earlier post, Ken W. was looking for someone to replace him as the contact person for the Innerchange tapes.
