Hee-hee! Woo-hoo-woo-hoo-woo-woo-woo-HOO (that's the best Daffy Duck impression I can do in writing; meet me in person for a more accurate version). I've gotten over Friday night AND myself, folks. I ain't a cute enough guy for Jewel Kilcher to take a visual interest in. If anything, she was making sure I wasn't wielding a firearm. On that count she was relieved. Dear Angels: Guess, Jewel still hasn't planned to come to Puerto Rico ,but I guess that's because there is not that much of an audience for her to come. I haven't heard her even once in any local radio station , and I'm gonna revolutionize that. I'm planning to cover a couple of her songs , modifying them to our punk rock vibe and always give Jewel the proper recognition to see if we get more of an audience in Puerto Rico. I feel a lot better , I'm halfway out of my depression and I wanna thank everyone for their support and ideas. I personally wanna thank Katie Peterson. Your comments made me think that all the things that had happened to me are just a microcosm in comparison with all the great spiritual stuff life has to offer. I ordered the Radio Angels casette ,,, has anyone ordered it and received it already. Oh well !! I can wait a month for mine!! until then my friends : Rafa p.s: thanx again Katie p.p.s:" El frustrado abismo oscuro que yo atravesaba no era otra cosa que la incertidumbre de mi mentalidad " ( the frustrated , dark abyss I was passing through was nothing more than the uncertainty of my mentality) - -Rafa Galinanes- ------------------------------ From: SAL5880@ritvax.isc.rit.edu Date: Wed, 08 May 1996 16:15:13 -0500 (EST) Subject: ? Since i am officially obsessive about Jewel right now, i went over to the cduniverse web page to check the status of the single that was mentioned last week, and they list: Who Will Save Your Soul to be released as a cassingle an 5/14 doesn't jewel merit a CD? Well, of course i'll buy the cassingle even though i have WWSYS on like 9 different promos :) Cheers, dave diciccda@saber.udayton.edu ------------------------------ From: SAL5880@ritvax.isc.rit.edu Date: Wed, 08 May 1996 20:10:09 -0500 (EST) Subject: [none] Sometimes it be that Way.... The article is short (not quite a Spin page) but the picture covers two pages and shows a beautiful Jewel lying on what appears to be a bed in a blue dress with groovy blue nails. She looks phenomenal! The article is rather nice, flattering IMO. Although, it does suggest that her music is becoming more like country...hehe.. I will transcribe it if anyone wants to read it... but I suggest you get the magazine the pic is soo great! =) Heidi ------------------------------ From: Arthur Joseph Moen Date: Wed, 8 May 1996 17:55:40 -0500 (CDT) Subject: meet and greet HIranya, im not on the list anymore, so i dont know your address and i apologize to all about this, but i need to talk to Hiranya, so... anyways, do you still have the number to call Atlantic about the meet and greets??? if so, could you mail it to me, maybe i can get on the list again... hopefully, Henry ------------------------------ From: SBB4184@alpha.CC.OBERLIN.EDU Date: Wed, 08 May 1996 23:18:38 -0400 (EDT) Subject: Yearbook Photos... Dear Jewel-list, I've FINALLY sent out copies of the Interlochen yearbook pictures I had of Jewel to Hiranya, Aaron W., and Colin S. I couldn't decide between Colin and Aaron's homepages, so I sent identical sets of copies to both people. They aren't the greatest quality b/w shots, and next year I'll have them all scanned directly from the books, but at least they're out there now... To all you folks who have contacted me about the little video clip I of our high school graduation- I haven't forgotten about any of you, and I'll be doing the dubs within the week... Is there an established address for me to send a dub to get it on the video tree compilation??? If so, I'd be more than willing to contribute a copy. One last comment: Neile G., is it too late to get a copy of the Innerchange now that Radio Angels is rolling hot off the tape heads? Could I bribe you with copies of the yearbook photos and the video clip??? (I meant to say "Innerchange tapes", but my e-mail word processing program sucks, and I can't change it:( ) One more last comment: Hopefully Colin and Aaron can figure out betwe en themselves who will post which yearbook shots (or they could both post all of'em), and they'll be showing up on a jewel page near you soon...
