Guests usually make a few rounds on various shows while in NYC. Having been home sick the last two weeks I've seen quite a few guests show up on more than one NYC show in a given day or two. In other words, on Monday AND Tuesday, keep an eye out on "Good Morning America", "The Today Show", whatever CBS's morning show is, "Regis & Kathie Lee", "Conan O'B", that LIVE show on FX (from 10am EST to 2pm EST, it's a GOOD BET she MIGHT show up on that, they quite often have singers of her type/style on) and maybe even Howard Stern (this one I'd doubt, being the raunchy jerk he is, she wouldn't likely "fit in") Mike C. P.S. I am really kicking myself in the a__ for missing Jewel on that "Lauren Hutton and" repeat last Friday....I even scoured the TV Guide last week and still missed it :\ (A.K.A. Well, that would be me. Just send your snail-mail to my e-mail (gwarder@icis.on.ca) and you're on the list. Again, the first issue is free (info for subscribing after that will be in the first newsletter). There will be picutres, an interview and other stuff from Jewel, Lenedra, etc. There will also be info on how to order merchandise for those that haven't been to shows where they've had merch. The mailing date is currently "April." We're just rounding up the last few elements and then it will be off. No, that was Opal. There is a rap star called Jewell with two Ls. Jewel has a funny story about going to a school where they thought Jewell was coming and not Jewel. - --Neile ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V1 #148 ***************************
