Her physical imperfections remind you that she is a real person, while still letting her remain physically attractive. That is probably one of the reasons people seem to be so easily infatuated with her. ------------------------------ From: Ratbert@gnn.com (Mike Reams) Date: Fri, 05 Apr 1996 21:51:37 Subject: Eye of the Beholder Alright, I've been away for awhile, but with all of this activity, I just have to put my 2 cents worth in. First I would like to thank whoever tried to notify that the K.C. show had been moved to Lawrence. Unfortunately the Iowa State mail system lost that message until a week ago so I still missed my one good opportunity to see her. Second, as the subject implies I'd like to briefly address all of the ugly mail that I just waded through. I first heard about jewel on the rfn "Milla" list. On someones advice I bought POY and loved the music. In a way it has helped this "Tin Man" software engineer find a heart. I especially liked the Morning Song and think it is my personal anthem. Anyway, beauty is where we find it. Whatever her appearance though (I think she's gorgeous), she has given me a great gift, and I'll always be grateful to her for that. Oh well, if any of you understand this, could you explain it to me? Or at least let me know where/how I can get some more tapes/songs or become a member of a tape tree? - -- I tried to think - -- of something - -- witty to say. - -- - -- Obviously, I couldn't - --MIKER ------------------------------ From: Neile Graham Date: Fri, 5 Apr 1996 20:06:20 -0800 (PST) Subject: Re: "Brett M. You don't even know what I said to his postmaster. > And that perspective is given further weight by the fact that you called on > everyone in the list to disassociate themselves from Brett, denying him > tapes and so forth.. I called on them not to make copies of tapes that I was largely instrumental in making, and on the creation of which I have spent many hundreds of hours, organizing and copying. I didn't suggest that anyone deny him any other tapes, only these ones I have personally invested so much time and effort in. Thanks for your attention, those of you who have read this far. These are my last words on this subject. - --Neile ------------------------------ From: jeffw (Jeff Wasilko) Date: Fri, 5 Apr 1996 23:22:00 -0500 (EST) Subject: Administrivia As the mailing list has grown larger (now at 250 people on the loose mail version, and 120 on the digest), mail delivery delays have grown longer. I have installed some new mail delivery software to try to improve delivery times.
