I thi9nk on Lauren Huttonm she spoke about how thoughts actually manifest themselves in reality. I find it so true. It goes back forever that what you envision becomes a reality. If you can dream it, you can be it. I find it avery empowering idea. I can be anything I want, only by imagaining it. This gets really deep if you like. Addendum: I was watching XTRA on TV and they had a little snippet (about two bars) of Foolish Games during a story on Katherine Hepburn in "On Golden Pond." When you become background music, you really begin to invade the subconcious of a society. You begin to sound familiar, which leads to more and more exposure. Another tour...wow! I wasn't old enough to catch her at the Blind Pig, but have wanted to see her for what seems like forever! If she played sometime in May around here it'd be marvelous.. < i love may, and if it were close to my birthday, a cool way to celebrate would be to go see her with some friends...>.. so, i will keep my eyes out for some posted new concert dates! :) *mariah ------------------------------ From: Dan Stark Date: Sun, 24 Mar 1996 13:07:40 -0500 Subject: Re: bootlegs for anybody At 16:11 23/03/96 EST, CJDavid@DOCKMASTER.NCSC.MIL wrote: >OK, I'll just say that I've gone throught his whole "is getting extra >tapes fair?" A suggestion. The original author said he had a very large collection of shows from various artists, so he's obviously into collecting these sorts of things. If you're interested in one of his tapes and don't think it's fair he gets an extra blank tape in the process, why not just offer to trade one copy of something you have in exchange? I don't know about t-shirts...I could go for a cool baseball hat or tour pin though. Maybe even a keytag. My $.02... Thank you, thank you, thank you, Hiranya for the info on Jewel at Tower Records! I was so bummed that I didn't get to meet Jewel in Cleveland. Now, everything is in sync (maybe the Vernal Equinox did it). My sister and I are going to visit family in SD and LA and we will be able to go to the West Hollywood Tower on the 28th. Yessss! Of course we'll hit Disneyland beforehand so after hearing 'It's a Small World' a few dozen times, Jewel's music will restore our sanity. Also finally caught some footage; the VH1 Vail segment.
