Has anyone seen the Adam Ezra Band out of Boston? They participated in last November's EveryDay Angels Foundation (EDAF) Project Warmth show at the Boston Hard Rock Cafe, and the EDAF hopes to have them do another benefit this winter. I saw them perform again at a local Harvest Festival Sunday, and Adam and the band are really, really good. They have some corporate sponsorship, and are a good bet to break out nationally. When we set a date for his next Project Warmth show, don't miss the chance to see him. Speaking of Project Warmth shows, the EDAF is sponsoring the second annual Encinitas, CA show at the Seaside Church on October 22nd. Returning to play again this year are Eve Selis, Patti Zlaket, Peggy Lebo and LRT favorite Mary Dolan. Anyone interested in attending the show can email me directly. Last year's show ranks among my top all- time EDA music events. Another local Massachusetts musician, Lori McKenna, is appearing on Oprah Monday. She's now signed with Warner Brothers, and I've heard comparisons of her to Patty Griffin. I'll meet her at two benefit shows later this month, and I hope the comparisons are valid. Patty is simply amazing, as anyone who attended JewelStock can attest. That's all for now... Harris. Trust me.
