I got a few picts, but they didn't really come out well because I was in the back of the pavillion and there was this nazi security guard trying to bust people taking pictures, and I didn't want my digital camera to be swiped. Also I would love a copy of the audio if anyone recorded it. I do have some angel food to trade for it! :) It was a great show, but I was very sad not to hear 1,000 miles. About a year ago I picked up Jewel's 0304 CD on ebay for cheap and This Way. I did not like This Way, but I loved 0304. I still kept Jewel on the down low though. Then last month while gambling my hard earned money away at the Indian Casino, The Pachanga, I saw Jewel's advertisement for her upcoming show there June 26 acoustic even! I thought, what the hell, that would be nice to see her again but only because it's acoustic otherwise I would have been reluctant to see her performance because I didn't like the big band type productions she was starting to do and the new image. I was so glad to see her perform. Every hit including Intuition all done acoustic. It was amazing as if she had maintained her initial image that made everyone fall in love with her in the first place. No band, no electric guitar, no leather pants, just pure Jewel. My heart pounded from within my chest joyfully. Hearing her new songs done acoustic made me realize that just like Foolish Games, her songs come from her guitar and then later end up being translated for piano or band type songs, but they all first start off pure Jewel. If anyone has that show recorded, I would love a copy! You all still do angel food trading, right? Jewel mentioned during her show that Steve Poltz found the pix of their Mexico trip with the machine gun and marijuana and were up on his website. I checked it out. Good to finally see them. Then I checked out Gerrit's Jewel EDA site to see if it was still up and then saw all my Jewel tablature I had done and saw others done by other EDA's that I knew and the heart felt home sick. So I just had to sign up, say Hi, see what's going on, who's still hear and what not. Would love to hear from anyone that remembers me.
