1. NEW ALBUM from me, ANYA MARINA.

The new  album--the DEBUT album, I should say--"drops" on January 25th
on my  own Good Rope Records. Itbs called Miss Halfway because there is
a  song on the record by that name, but more truthfully, because my
friend Chris told me it should be called that and because it really
made me mad that he suggested it. Since my therapist says you should
pay attention to it when things really get your goat, I decided I HAD
to call it Miss Halfway just to prove myself wrong somehow. See, I  have
been fighting against being generally flaky and half-assed and  byou
guessed itbMiss Halfway-ish for years, so the idea of embracing  that
title was not initially very attractiveb&oh, jeez, who cares? JUST  BUY
IT JAN 25 & COME TO THE CD RELEASE @ LESTAT'S ON THE 29th for  the
official CD RELEASE SHOW.

The album features 11 amazing  songs (co-produced by Scott Russo of
Unwritten Law and Peter King from  Dakoda Motor Co. & The Surfers), a
host of local talent, and 8  pages of beautiful artwork designed by Bibi
Bielat who is the  bomb.  In any case, it's been a long time coming and
I'm so  thankful to all of you for backing me, coming to the shows,
telling  your friends, relatives, and trusted drug dealers about me, and
generally being a really cherished group of music supporters over the
last 5 or so years.  This album is my gift to you...in exchange for  12
dollars in cold hard cash.

2. NEW SHOWS & TV  APPEARANCES
