[Barry Howarth Subject: [EDA] what "current" musician do the people on this list enjoy listening to? Hi Angels, About the only singer apart from Jewel that I listen to these days is Ejigayehu Shibabaw, aka Gigi. She's Ethiopian and sings in Amharic, which I'm trying to learn, and writes her own songs, much based on traditional Ethiopian music, with a touch of jazz. She now lives in the USofA. I don't understand what's she's singing about, but the voice and the music are great. But she doesn't give me the lift, the high, that Jewel still does. Nevertheless, check Gigi out. Take care, Barry Howarth PS 1960s Ethiopian jazz is great too. > >Here's a music related topic: what "current" musician do the people on this >list enjoy listening to? > >Harris.
