Hmmm. I can't argue any of those points, as I am most certainly guilty of each and every charge Tammy makes. I do think that the CIRCUMSTANCES of each occurence has some bearing, however. Multiple alleged offenses do weaken my defense, though (ie, I am a known repeat offender). If you ever see Tammy in person, immediately remove her shoes and tickle her feet. (Then be prepared to peel her off the ceiling!) BTW, Tammy prefers to rope her children to roping plywood cows. She's also married to Rob "please remove this toy boat propellor from my thinning hairline (again) Campbell"... 'Nuff said! Harris. Intervention time! Make some coffee, put on the live yodeling mix and get him walking around the room. And Jewel, stop the annoying coy act and please let us know what's up. Some of us have a 2005 entertainment calendar to plan. Are you releasing new material, or should we just move on to the next talented musician who is still interested in creating music for fans (and themselves)? Last time I looked, there are a lot of them out there, waiting for the break you already got. (BTW michiel, I sincerely doubt Nedra sacked Jewel's career. In fact, based on what little I know, I'd give her most of the credit for Jewel's success. Including half the genes that made her the person she is, both good and bad.) I'm currently listening to a lot of Billy Jonas (_www.billyjonas.com_ (http://www.billyjonas.com) ). He's a folksy granola sound using mostly recycled instruments. He does a lot of kids stuff, too. Fun guy. Huge tour itinerary. Check it out see if he'll be near you. His shows are cheap. Frankly, Jewel did NOT look happy doing the promotion and touring of 0304. I, personally, think that it is because T-Bone's death, and the failure of 0304. I do think that she deserves a vacation and the public can lick my Persian *** if they think she's a sell out. Well, thanks to Jewel, I'm a huge, huge Joe Firstman fan. I just love his music. I still listen to Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, Indigo Girls and all the late 60s and early 70s music that I've always loved, but I listen to Joe the most. He's changed my life and been a big inspiration to me and my music just the way Jewel did when I first found her. I still credit her with a lot and I'm not a fair weather fan. I don't care what she does in her personal life or if she updates her sites, etc., etc., etc. I'm a fan because it's good music. Her music is inspiring. If I stopped listening to every one of my favorite artists because of a personal reason, I would be missing out on a lot of good music. Joe Firstman (in my opinion) has a really bad drinking problem but I'm a fan of the MUSIC. It's great music, great writing. He and Jewel have been a big part of my life and will continue to do so. I love listening to those two and hope to hear more in the very near future. BTW, Joe's next cd is due out this Spring, so I hope you all will check it out. Nice to hear all the different opinions on this list, as always. I wish everyone a very happy new year! She seamed happy and stuff during the shows but I heard during meet n greats she didn't seam to happy or outgoing. She prolly got sick of not having a band to play with, cause she had no one to hang out with but the small crew that it took to put the show on each night...and I don't think 0304 is a failure...it came out how she wanted it, it had two Top 40 singles, and sold a million copies. >From: WhatWouldJewelDo@aol.com >To: jewel@smoe.org >Subject: [EDA] Did Jewel Hate the 0304 tour? >Date: Wed, 5 Jan 2005 18:31:55 EST > >Frankly, Jewel did NOT look happy doing the promotion and touring of 0304. >I, >personally, think that it is because T-Bone's death, and the failure of >0304. >I do think that she deserves a vacation and the public can lick my Persian >*** if they think she's a sell out.
