Whoever posted about doing the Google search, I tried it and found I've posted to the list 356 times in my 9 years as an EDA. Wow. So how do you do that math equation again? 356/9? I don't remember (hey, I'm an artist, what do you want?). Anyway, I glanced at a few of the old digests and this one from old timer Carter Navarro written shortly after JewelStock illustrates what Dennis the Harris was saying is missing from the current list (I added the asterisks to show the lines I'm specifically referring to).... "JewelStock sounded like an unbearably joyful experience. I don't think I'll take a hammer to my head just yet, since I'm still convinced I'll burst into flame upon verbal contact with Miss Kilcher. As long as it's just a two-foot walk-by or a wink, I'll be just fine. Well, my fingertips did spark a bit at the wink, but a little rubbing alcohol fixed that right up. Yeeeaarrrrrrgh! ***What sounds even more joyful than Jewel, though, was the union of a great number of Everyday Angels. This is what I REALLY feel left out of, so I'm making it my mission to meet at least one of you before I die.*** Since Gerritt lives closest (I think), he's my chosen victim. I'm stalkin' you, man!" Sigh. Good times. Hopefully there will be more! As for the goings-on in my life lately, I am mostly concentrating on my house which I bought a few months ago. My first. Very exciting! Lots to be done, though. Anyway, I just heard a rumor that Atlantic Records has rejected the album & has no plans to release it. I know Jewel is switching labels, so could there be any truth to this? Mike? Anyone? Please enlighten us! I heard this from someone at the Street Team, who has a relative that knows people at Jewel's concert booking agency. So maybe it's nothing more than a rumor? Or is it?
