Dear EDAs I have been informed that this email that i have been using for the past 7 years will close by the end of november. I'm no longer a student at the University of Houston but I have used this email since then. They have finally caught on and will terminate this account. BAH!! Damn them! hehe. It's been a fun 7years on this msg board as I have started in feb of 97. I've met so many nice people from this board from years past and attended many events years ago. Anyone remember RockFest 97? hehe :) I haven't been the best EDA the past 3-4 years because I just simply didn't read the msg board as much. I read it from time to time but dont' really keep up with it. I think i'm the only one still on loose mail? Is everyone else still on digest? hehehe After this email is terminated I will not sign up again because I don't really have time to wade through all the emails like I used to :) Maybe one day i'll sign up again? I can't believe I've been on loose mail for 7 straight years! Is that a record, mike? hehe ;P I wish the board the best! EDA in Houston who is peeved! It couldn't have been L & C cause on my Stockton 11/17/00, she plays L & C for the first time; said she wrote it back stage that night while Steve was up -- unless she was fibbing -- which she's done before!!! But she did say she wrote it the night before in Santa Rosa on 11/18/00, too. So I think that's accurate info from her. Anyway, it IS the earliest date I have in all my angelfood of L & C (except for bonus on an earlier one that I swear is the Stockton version -- and I didn't acquire much angelfood before 2002, so that is possible). ANYWAY, I remember hearing that before -- have no idea where! I would bet it's pre-POY, cause I think it was about what should she be "introduced" through, and she didn't want that song first -- or at all from what I remember -- and I don't even think it got on a "real" album. But I remember guessing at the time it might have been a song like Rocker Girl, Race Car Driver (which explain the Demo version on STL) or God's Gift to Women -- or something in that era and type (maybe Down at the Bridge or Piece of Your Love Machine -- something like that). If anyone remembers if she ever said what song it was, let us know! AND....... I feel the same way about that -- not just in being disappointed with the album versions, but not really getting any "new" music mostly. There wasn't much (except 0304) that was on the others she hadn't been doing for a while live. I think it will probably happen on this album too, since she was recording new songs for her new album. The ONLY drawback to angelfood!!!!!! Hopefully there will be enough new ones to make us feel like we got a "new" record!
