You just copy and paste into new e-mail and change the responses to yours, then email to the list! Name: Matt Age: 20 Location: Milwaukee, WI Fav Jewel Album: This Way Fav Jewel Singles: Standing Still, This Way, Break Me, Jupiter, 2 Become 1 Fav Jewel Videos: Stand, Jupiter, Foolish Games, Down So Long Fav Jewel Songs: 2 Find U, Everything Breaks, Carnivore, This Way, New Wild West Fav Jewel Tour: This Way Tour 2002, and Spirit Tour 1999 Favorite TV Appearance: Pepsi Smash, Leno Foolish Games, Letterman Jupiter Least Favorite Jewel Song: Amen Fav Song to shout out at concert: Does Anyone Believe in Love, Carnivore Have you met her?: She said hi to me in Duluth! How many Jewel concerts?: 8 How many times has see come to your city?: 5 (POY Promo tour, lilith, spirit, this way, '04 acoustic) How far have you gone to see her?: New York City for Central Park Concert & Tribecca Concert Fav Jewel Concert: This Way Tour in Milwaukee...soooooo many people....everyone standing the whole time, dancing, amazing!, met M2M signing autographs n taking pics. Least favorite Jewel concert: Probably Chicago on This Way tour, the audience dissappointed me, I had never been to a Jewel concert with her band where the audience wasn't on their feet most of the time...really dissappointed...(will prolly not go to Chicago for another Jewel show:) But she was amazing that night! Ever celebrated her birthday!: Yes, we made a cake!! Coolest Jewel item you have: Promo poster from Target for Spirit, Huge, 3-d poster, very cool Would You pay $300 for instantlive cd?: Umm...probably not. I'm the only eda who____: I'm 99.9% sure that I was the only EDA to be in the TRL studio for TRL when Intuition was on the countdown. Did you like 0304?: Hell yes! It makes me sick to hear people say that that was her "sellout" album just because some of the songs were more pop-ish... I think that there were only two songs on the CD that, if had been set to different music, would'nt have been considered "Jewel's style", and they are U=Me=Love, and Yes U Can....but all the "2" and "4" and "u" in the liner notes was really annoying. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 16 Sep 2004 10:43:36 -0700 (PDT) From: eliot lemoncelli Subject: [EDA] NJC: a little of everything Singin wrote that Disasters come in 3's. He forgot about Bonnie and Frances... So its Bonnie, Charley, Frances, now Ivan and Jeanne is on the way... MAC asked if "there really only 3 EDAs in the entire state of Florida"There's got to be more EDAs then that here, that is unless they've all fled after 4 hurricanes this season. And finally Dennis "Woody may just be my best friend" Harris wrote about Roadtripping down I-95 this spring. All I can say is Please Come and Bring any EDA's you can with you... We're all suffering from 'Storm stress' and could use the fun of an EDA gathering...not to mention the tourist dollars to help rebuild. Centralfloridaangel New and Improved Yahoo! Jewel's current booking fee is $65,000 or 80% of total event gross. This means that if some place wanted to book Jewel, lets say for those annual holiday radio concerts, that is her fee for her to perform at your event. (however if Jewel scheduled the date during her tour, she pays fees to the venue). Anyways, look around and came across Jessica Simpson's booking fee as being $140,000. I know that is MUCH higher than Jewel's, but with Jewel touring solo lately, she's making more money in the end. Jessica has to take that $140,000 and pay her 7-member band with it for appearing with her. So in the end Jewel is still making more. Also, did you hear that the band Jet was making fun of Jessica Simpson, saying she's a ditz and can't write her own songs? WELLLLLL for all those haters, Jessica co-wrote HER ENTIRE album that is out right now, which is In This Skin, except for the two tracks that were added for the re-release, Take My Breathe Away, and Angels... Love Jessica, Love Jewel, and it's un-officially Cacee Cobb day!! matt ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 16 Sep 2004 19:11:30 -0300 From: Fjjordao Subject: [EDA] PRAG http://www.kosi101.com/airstaff/denise_daily_dirt.html 9/2 What can't Jewel do? She has a plethora of #1 songs that she's written and sang. She penned her own poetry book and now Jewel is working on an animated series for Nickelodeon. "Punk Rock Angel Girl" should hit our homes in the fall. ________________________________________________ WNET - www.wnetrj.com.br ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V9 #259 ***************************
