Hey All, Just wanted to let you guys know, I'm alright. Orlando got hit pretty hard for being so far away from the inital landfall. All my friends are safe too :) As for me we lost power about 930 Friday night when the storm thrashing the airport. As of 11am Monday it hasnt come back yet... I'm a huge fan of his since seeing him open for Jewel in March. As far as the song, yes, they co-wrote it. But in March they said they were just kind of making up the words to the verses as they went along, but in June, Joe said he had written all of his verses but Jewel hadn't yet. They perform it together at their concerts. It's a great song!
