As for acting, hasn't she said she wants to wait for the right part? I can't see her as Daisy Duke. And we all know Jewel has no problem taking time off if she's burnt out. And there is a difference between sharing tapes among edas and posting songs on the web for anyone to download. Touring is >touring. Actually, it does give her more time for writing songs. She herself has often stated that fact through the years. The main reason she has more time while touring Europe is that there is much less media attention on the tour, thus many less media events each day before the concerts. Stateside she had TV appearances, radio events, bookstore appearances tying up her whole day most days. In Europe those events do happen, but not nearly as many per day/show. Thus, she has a lot more free-time while touring Europe, and she typically spends a fair share of it writing and sight-seeing. Did anyone see when the tickets for Los Angeles, CA (Disney Hall) 7/23/04 went on sale?? I was just on her website on Thursday and it said "pending." Yesterday I couldn't get my computer online and now it says closed??? I don't see the tickets on ticketmaster anywhere either. Why didn't jewelink send out a notice for those sales?
