Last Month in Biloxi Jewel was the sweetest, most entertaining jewel i've ever seen. I did go to the Friday concert which she admitted that she enjoyed more becuase she said the audience at the thruday concert seemed uninterested in her and cared more about getting their drinks than listening to her play. I think the whole palying at Casinos thing has its ups and downs....yes it is great because its more intimate but if you get a crowd of annoying gamblers it could prove to be a crappy time. Subject: [EDA] dissapointing concerts... It's sad to read people's reports of concerts they've been dissapointed in. The Hampton Show is being blown WAY out of proportion. We all know Jewel doesn't tolerate shitty crowds... that's been the case from day one... if she doesn't get respect on stage she's not gonna stick around. Simple as that. That article is full of factural inaccuracies, as has been pointed out by people on this list. The fact that it's been picked up by other news services and now seems to be spreading around is a real shame, cause it ain't true. And as for reports of dissapointing concerts... I guess my only comment is not every night can be amazing. I know that the acoustic show I saw this year was incredible... Jewel looked like she wanted to be there, the crowd was amazing, the setlist was amazing, everything about the night was perfect. It matched up to every other time I've seen her live.... in fact it was better. And I have read DOZENS of similar stories from shows this year... from on this list and on others. But regardless, she's only human... and she's going to have off-nights. I don't know what the reason behind all that is. Does she wants to build a castle with Ty? Because in my opinion touring in america is fine but she plays some dark venues , that i don't really want her to perform. The prices of the tickets has one up too big skies.
