Instead he's going to be touring with Jessica Simpson for June and July (they share a manager)... so he's still opening for Jewel on her May dates, but after that Joe Firstman (according to his website) will be back on the road with Jewel, opening for her in June and July. Good news as everyone has raved about Joe Firstman thus far, plus Jewel seems to get along with him incredibly well... so it's nice for her to have someone she knows and likes on tour with her! Hey, I was getting ready to post that myself! I saw that about Joe opening for Jewel on Joe's website too. He also said something about after the shows with Jewel, he will immediately be playing at a local club in the cities he's touring with her. Talk about a great self promoter. Pretty clever of him. Jewel fans will be going to see her, then they'll get to see him open for her then get to hear him and his band afterwards at some nearby club. Sounds like some fun nights. I've gotten to see him twice now. He and Jewel are by far my favorite performers. They're all I listen to anymore. I mean I've been a Jewel fan for years anyway, but now I'm just crazy about both of them. BTW, does anyone out there have the official lyrics to "Everything Reminds Me of You"?
