It was such an inspirational experience! Friday, Katy Rose was so freakin awesome!! She's really amazing live!! I went to the side of the stage after she performed and my friend and I asked her aunt if she could get Katy for us. Katy was really sweet!! She took pictures with us and gave me a guitar pick. She thanked us for supporting her music and stuff. Yesterday, Jason Mraz performed with Toka. He was great!! He played "At Last", the Etta James song, and "Summer Breeze." "Curbside Prophet" was awesome! We talked to Toka after. Then, a little while later Jason came out there. He recorded hisself freestyling on people's voicemails. He took a pic with me, gave me a pick, and signed my purse! ha. Him and his g/f were so cute. She looks a lot like Nelly Furtado, and he was saying the sweetest things about her. I asked him if he's going to tour with Jewel again, and he said that they don't have anything planned right now, but he would love to. Saturday, I saw Joss Stone. That girl can sang!! She has so much soul. Ha, I sound like a stalker, but I swear I'm not! Some people went over by her tour bus, so I followed and there were like two gates b/t us and Joss. She was really nice! Someone told her that she sounds like Janis Joplin...and she said that that was very flattering. Yesterday, Gavin Degraw performed!!!! He's so awesome!! I kept requesting for him to play "Let's Get It On," and he finally did! I love when he performs it! He also sang a little bit of "Proud Mary" and "Sexual Healing." I didn't get to meet him :(, but I got to meet one of his guitar players....he was really cool and I talked to him for a while. Saturday.......The Doors!!! Actually, the Doors of the 21st Century, b/c no Jim, but I believe it was everyone else. The guy from The Cult was the singer. They were great! The audience was so vibrant.
