Jewel ["Mark Austin" Subject: [EDA] North Charleston concert I went to the North Charleston concert and it was amazing....this was the third time I saw her and it was defiantly the best. She did not miss a pitch once and she didn't forget her lyrics :) She played for two hours and 30 minutes!!! I was shocked. She told us that she loved Charleston and it was her favorite city so far on the tour. She told us she normally sleeps in the cities all day but she went shopping in Charleston. She looked gorgeous!!! She was wearing a jean skirt with a pink strap shirt. She was also wearing these cool rose cowboy boots. Another cool thing about the concert was on her encore she had a Q and A period. Where we could ask her questions. That was cool. She played race car driver for me. I requested it. She also told the story behind it. She told us the story about the meet and great and the dentist. So it was an awesome show. Jewel Hey guys! The Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey Variety Show just aired. lol, The show was REALLY cheesy (I'll admit that I laughed at times though!). I liked the Mickey Mouse Club spoof best. Jessica made it out as if she was reliving her childhood, except she actually made it into the Mickey Mouse Club. They had 9 year old Justin, Britney, and Christina impersonaters, and Jessica starting mocking them and stuff. It was funny! Anyways, about Jewel, lol Her and Jessica went well together. You could really tell Jessica was really proud, she even did a nice intro for the song. Jessica was a little over the top if you ask me, at points sounding like she was trying to impersonate the album version, lol. She still sang really well though, she definately has a great voice in her. It just would've been better if she sang it more naturally. All and all it was a pretty good and interesting performance. I remember ages ago, Jewel talked about it looking like she had to pee when she saw herself singing on tv. Jewel Wow! that was an odd performance. It was weird seeing them perform together. It was pretty good though! I love the end of it when they do the long note together. Jessica looked funny up there with her expressions during the song. She has a great voice, but tries too hard. Jewel was awesome as always! They kind of look alike.
