After reading about other artists doing it, I couldn't wait for Jewel to do it too. But wouldn't you think it would be even cooler if she sold the video footage? I went to a Billy Joel/Elton John concert and they had it. Of course it was outrageously expensive, but still ... if you're crazy enough, it's a small price to pay for a permanent digital souvenir. Elizabeth P.S. YES! I'm going to see Madonna! ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 2 Apr 2004 04:14:36 EST From: Wesllow@aol.com Subject: [EDA] dvd & other musings Just to come out of lurk mode to wonder if anyone else noticed that on the back jacket of the Dvd they list "everything breaks sometime" as a Hit between ywmfm and hands...thats a little strange....also the whole "interview" sections i can just picture jewel sitting on the ranch right now, biting her tounge over and over again...lol. I do have to admit though it is a pretty ok dvd...esp. getting to see T-bone..i personally thought they were gonna put a little remeberance thing at the end of the credits...but i guess they didnt think of it. so yah anyways Jewel on the 17th in Boluxi .....anyone gonna be there?. let me know ..i personally we should call this tour "Bang-fest 2004" yet i think that could be misconstrued as something a little bit more naughty....although i bet her concert attence levels would go through the roof... On another note. an amazing Ny artist i have been enjoying lately is Regina Spektor. Her lyrics are so great and her voice is so fitting against the simplicity of the piano that accompanys her songs.. you can hear her on her website at www.reginaspektor.com Its so great to find new music as good as this. xo. wes ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 2 Apr 2004 17:54:26 +0200 From: "michiel" Subject: [EDA] Head over to my forum hey jewelfans, head over to my site nOt the official jewel fan site for the special Sioux Falls show from Jewel from her 0304 accoustic tour! i hope you enjoy it , all recordings are courtesy of jewel and theresa who recorded this showcase!
