They were public pictures first. He just posted them on his site. It's not like he snuck in the booth and took them. She supports it, and has verbally stated it even at concerts a few times now. I have a recording of her from the NWW tour saying so. She has stated this especially since the majority of her songs are unreleased. If the majority of what we hear is unreleased, how are we ripping her off? The whole bootlegging thing, as far as I know, is mainly practiced by only us hardcore fans. We still goto her concerts whenever its possible, and we still purchase every bit of material that she releases and support her. Us Jewelinkers (if you want a great official forum, which I think far excedes the Jeweljk one, go there) even go around doing internet advertising for her. You cannot buy concert bootlegs, or unreleased songs. And again, if Jewel says she supports it, what place are you in to say that we shouldn't do it? Or course, since most of us have already known or just found out, she does not "officially" from a record label, corporate point of view support it, but from a personal standpoint, she does.
