Did something happen in the last day that has made her think about doing some of the shows? So, it seems likely that this is just an oversight on the part of Tickets.com. The Jewel show scheduled for 7:30 and the Mighty Wind show that is a late show scheduled for 10 PM doors. Not sure but it is still on the 9:30 Website and on Tickets.com as well for onsale purposes. Hansen / The Detroit > News > SOUTHFIELD -- Terome "T-bone" Hannon, a bass guitarist who was set to tour the nation this week with pop singer Jewel, died from an aneurysm Thursday Sept. 4, 2003, in Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. He was 39. "Detroit has lost a great talent. Nationally, they're going to miss him," said Sherry Hannon, his wife since 1989. Mr. Hannon shared a love of music with his mother and made his mark at an early age. He was active in the music programs while a student at Northwestern High School in Detroit. After graduating, he spent a decade playing in bands and writing his own music before hitting it big. While playing with another band, Mr. Hannon met Michael W. Smith, a keyboardist who had played with Christian music singer Amy Grant. Smith liked Mr. Hannon's "funky bass" sound and opened the door for him to meet Grant. She made him a band member, and Hannon was able to make good on a promise he made his wife. "When we got married, I said, 'This is not going to feed us,' " said Sherry Hannon, 43. "He said, 'I'll go out and make money to feed us with my talent.' And he did." As Grant's fortunes rose, so did Mr. Hannon's. Sherry Hannon said it was his greatest professional thrill to play on stage with Grant at the Grammys. "He felt like he had made it at that point." Mr. Hannon went on to perform with a host of other singers, from country singer Shania Twain to pop singers SheDaisy. Mr. Hannon was scheduled to leave this week to join Jewel's national tour. After the tour, he wanted to focus on becoming a producer while continuing to write music, Sherry Hannon said. He apparently was doing well but last Tuesday lapsed into a coma and was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. It became very clear to the doctors by Thursday that Terome would never recover. It happened quickly and it seems the whole matter was unexpected, though it is understandable given his family history. He has a wife and grown daughter and I'm sure there are plenty of fans like yourself who will miss his music and his spirit. Hope that helps. Thanks for your interest.
