Tickets for that show are not available through ticketmaster and that is where the majority of people go to purchase tickets. I went though the unedited site and through them to tickets.com. Funny thing is that I didn't get the tickets through them because they ROYALLY screwed up my purchase. Something went wrong through "their" website and they ended up charging my credit card but NOT issuing me tickets. Talk about P.O'd! Not to mention the fact that it took them several DAYS to put my money back. I ended up buying them straight through the 9:30 club website. YOU can, I can't. When I go to ticketmaster and type in Jewel there is nothing shown for the 9:30 club. It goes from the Darby who to Atlantic City. Nothing in between. Maybe it's just my computer. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Aug 2003 12:03:17 EDT From: GWJewelGrL@aol.com Subject: Re: [EDA] Tour Sales Update Part I I don't think it's true that Jewel isn't sold out because her concert is selling at tickets.com. Most people who go to shows at 930 club either buy the tickets directly from their website, or from the box office. Not to mention, that Wolftrap, an outdoor ampitheater, also sold tickets for Jewel at tickets.com (where they sell all their concert tickets). She played there for the This Way tour and sold out the entire venue (including lawn) of over 4,000 people. *the mystic angel* Jordana ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Aug 2003 20:30:18 +0200 From: "michiel" Subject: [EDA] Cool Cool performance of Jewel on TOTP hey Jewelfans, Just watched again the performance of Jewel on TOP of the POPS. She recorded this around 12 days ago in London UK. In Holland BNN, aired it in their TOP of the POPS show, and she sang an amazing cool version of Intuition. Loved the way she experiemented with her voice and also the background singers were lovely and did a nice job. from her normal tour band only mark oakley joined her to the uk, to sing intuition. jewel was looking beautiful in a black short skirt and cool black top. You could see her amazing thin belly. She looks so healthy , you could almost speculate she is aneroxia patient :) But the whole performance was nice, esp when jewel stood with her foot on the micrphone standard and the mic went swinging from left to right and she had to laugh about the incident. She looked comfortable and enjoyed the crowd who were fanatic... shame though that in the UK were it was recorded no jewel performance of intuition will be shown... Intuition is in holland a big top ten hit #7 and in the Uk she not even get close to the top 40 she entered this week #52.... But Holland loves jewel, and she didn4t even had to promote Intuition by a show or anything else.... this time the song was so cool that the deejays were more than happy to play the song on radio and on tv.... so jewel made another big impact in holland, and in 5 days from now 0304 will be for sale in the stores in holland lator michiel http:/www.jewelkilcher.nl/ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Aug 2003 15:09:59 EDT From: rawhite78@aol.com Subject: Re: [EDA] Cool Cool performance of Jewel on TOTP In a message dated 8/24/03 1:31:32 PM Central Daylight Time, michielvangorkum@concepts.nl writes: > She looks so healthy , you could > almost speculate she is aneroxia patient :) > LOL, that does not sound so very healthy to me ;-) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 23 Aug 2003 13:20:54 -0700 From: Christene LeDoux Subject: [EDA] Help Jewelisters! Choosing airline for trip to/from SF/UK .... Hey folks, I am trying to decide which airline to go with for my flight to London. I had to change my one-way ticket which means I am starting over. I am of course looking to find the airline that is most comfortable with the best options...i.e..food/entertainment and again, roominess. The price is the same for me for all of these, so that is not an option, they are also all direct flights from SFO to London. It's now a matter of, who is the best one for the 10+ hour flight...(** of course on a side note, any of these that were/are particularly easy or not so easy to deal with when it comes to bringing on a guitar would be helpful to...) Choosing airline for trip to/from SF/UK .... Hi! I personally prefer British Airways when I fly. They are always helpful with checking bags and stuff. They once let me check 5 bags instead of two for no extra cost. And they have the mini tv's at every seat so you can pick what you want to watch. Good luck, amanda Christene LeDoux wrote: Hey folks, I am trying to decide which airline to go with for my flight to London. I had to change my one-way ticket which means I am starting over. I think if i would be president of ATLANTIC records and see the UK charts results, i would really urge the two to start a creative project to get Jewel4s name more known in the UK... You see JAY Z and Beyonce Knowles, Sean Paul and Blu Cantrell...... They are all big hits.. So jewel needs to team up with Sean Paul and make a song Get a jiggy with Jewelfanism! bye Michiel ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V8 #371 ***************************
