For those of you that replied with the theory that you have to act the minute the presale began to get good seats...I did! Moreover, I acted the SECOND the presale began...and I got bad seats. Since I spent $40 for Jewel Unedited (solely for presale purposes) and $300 for Jewel concert tickets, I feel it necessary to write a letter of complaint. Whoever is getting the ball rolling, contact me privately...otherwise I'll send one out regardless.

I'm not sure why the majority of you voted for "Stand" for Jewel's next single. She's already waited too long to release her next single for it to do as well as it should...and for it to be "Stand"??? :-\ You should've done her a favor and voted for something less preachy that everyone is going to enjoy...after all, Jewel said this record is supposed to make you feel smart and sexy. "Stand" makes me feel like Dr. Dre gone good. "Yes U Can" is on retail Musak CDs nationwide now, and everyone is eating it up!

I've barely gotten in with my *OWN* ID before when they didn't believe it was me... and they will turn you away when in doubt, because they'll get in serious trouble when someone who's underage wins a jackpot or something. (this is nothing to do with whether or not you plan on gamble, you get let in, you have access to gamble) I seriously doubt you will get in...but if you think you can, I suggest you try whatever you are going to now to just get into the casino part, instead of trying it on the night of the concert & finding out that your tickets are going to waste! ~ Sandy ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 18 Aug 2003 11:26:52 -0700 (PDT) From: Amanda Davy Subject: Re: [EDA] Casino Rama Thanks for the advice. I know it is going to be hard to get in. I am going to take my sister's id who is only a year and a half older than me and we look pretty similar. Hopefully that will work. If it doesn't work I will be very disapointed. THis cd really shows her vocal ability, she actually sound sort of sexy and vulnerable at the same time. She sings the songs like she's really feeling what she's singing. It's way better than her first cd. THe track with Sheryl Crow sounds sort of Dixie Chickish, anyone else think so?
