Well, I look up on the internet a bit, and I think they are currently filming the movie, so yeah, it does exist. Its an indie-comedy. I could not find any mention of Jewel though. Perhaps the movie features the song or has a brief cameo. What happened to that movie we heard of about Jewel acting as a rock star fighting over custody of her son? Was that role/movie ever verified? Wasn't that going to be filmed this summer? If not, forgive me! Well, its just after 11 here tonight... And since I'm bored, I decided to contribute to this unbelievably quiet mailing list. I started off tonight looking for pics of Jewel singing Intuition wayyy back during Diva's Duets. I wasn't able to find any, but I did discover the following: - - Jewel has probably gotten more fans than lost them with this new album. - - Clips of Jewel and Beyonce performing are listed as "naked celeb movies" on some whacked out porno site. - - One observer believes that on Diva Duets, Jewel "looked like Mother Theresa being forced to work a night as a Las Vegas showgirl... at gun point." (I laughed my ass off at that one) - - The performance of "Intuition" from duets is the best Intution performance I've heard so far. I didn't see her on Last Call, and I heard that was great. Anyone have a recording of it or a performance they believe is superior? (okay, I didn't just discover that fact tonight.) - - One Beyonce fan on a message board said they liked Jewel's new song, which apparently goes "Follow your mind... your into wishing." (or something like that o,o) - - Michiel, you need to size down the Jewel pics on your site. I wanted to see the Blender pics but after 40 minutes they are STILL loading up ^^;. Theres no need to be able to count every strand of hair on Jewel's head. And besides, it only takes up bandwith and space, right? : ) - - Jackie Chan: Actor. Stunt Devil. Singer. Alrighty I'm done! Anyone have those pics? I really can't find them anywhere on the internet! Tonight, I did a couple minutes of wondering about why Jewel hasn't been vocal about the EDAs, or anything like that. Maybe she wants to sort of protect the list? Think about it. Jewelstock was pretty much pre-fame, Nashbash was in 2001(or 2000?) pre-This Way, when she was hardly getting any media attention. If Jewel really made a special effort to get in touch with us, we could have this relatively small list over-run by thousands of people. Perhaps Jewel-link started up so she wouldn't have this list over-run like that and still get out lots of info and messages. Maybe when she "goes back into the woods" for a while, she'll get in touch? Just a thought. I realllllly hope that Jewel has not forgotten the EDAs, who all love her dearly. Also tonight (I devoted a lot of my time to Jewel, didn't I?) I realized how I was going through each CD just to hear my favorite songs from each. I was thinking if you turned the 4 (5 counting Joy) albums together into one track album with a reasonably-sized tracklist, what would it be? No un-released stuff. Mine is: 1.
