I don't believe this story! I guess Jewel was in Connecticut this weekend. She was traveling with her tour bus to new york and needed a nice quiet place to eat. So they called my local radio station that I listen to and asked for a place. They said max's downtown in Hartford. So they arrive and are having dinner. She sees a young couple sitting having dinner and she goes up to them and introduces herself as britney spears! They say "no you're not." She says "you're right. I'm actually jewel" and they say, "who?" can you believe that? So she goes to another table and they say, "are you really jewel?" she says "yes, what are you guys up to?" they say that they're getting ready to go to their prom." Jewel asks where is it and they say Southington. So it must be the aqua turf, which is a real nice place. So she asks if they want a ride in her tour bus to their prom and the driver takes them to their prom!. Ok, here's the funny part. I'm from Southington! I was narrowly escaped a death experience with my car. I put the brake of my car, and than suddenly i was steering and couldn4t hold the car and ended upside down in a dry canal. So my roof was 20cm shorter and my front mirror was totally damaged. I didn4t wear a seatbelt, and with my car not insured all risks i didn4t received any money back from the insurance company... so i made a big loss and with some other personal things from my self i couldn4t hold my positive atitude. Who has never been depressed?? i just think that i needed some cool things to happen and when then jewel didn4t release the new single intuition in europe i was down and also that she wasn4t aired on the vh1 diva duets in europe was very dissapointing especailly considering that they played some non duets tracks in the show that only run 100 minutes with commercial breakes.. So they cut down a lot....and i was mad about that...i don4t understand why they do that! But i need to focus on positive things, that jewel was aired on vh1 duets in america and that the fans really appreciated it and all the free radioconcerts that is jewel now doing to promote 0304!!! that is just amazing! I spinned now twice 0304 the new record and all i can say wow i am very very much impressed. It is Jewel4s most strong vocal record and what about all the lyrics that are on this record!! It is truly a masterpiece, and since pieces of you i think jewel only improved with every record. This record is so much fan, i am sure a lot of new fans will capture the new sound. Jewel is renewing and still she remains very much herself. But the ear is pleased what he hears, and i am freaked about a lot of songs.. Stand is great, Yes u can is cool, Haunted has some special elements in it......it is always difficult to tell which track you like the most....but so many tracks are so amazing. The Jewel voices are sometimes really cool used and the instruments really sound wicked.. I had high hopes for the new record, and also America is very nice. It reminds me of Neil Diamonds America but than in the 2003 style of the amazing Jewel !! How she talks about liberty, the issues in life is so beautiful. She expresses still the thoughts of a lot of social society pieces and i am really proud that jewel is growing so much as artist. 0304 is really one of the best albums this year, i am sure the criticasters will hail it with praise. I love the special lyrics and the sound effects with jewel4s voice , jewel and lester did that really fun. Especially when the word America breakes down and how the melody is than so suddenly back and it is so rocking song.... All the tracks are very very cool , and the more you listen to it the more magic 0304 has for me. I am happy that i can listen again to a masterpiece of my idol Jewel. She always reinvent herself with a new record, she never continues to walk down one side of the road, but she uses the sidepath which i think is very neat.... I am going to listen to the new record the whole sunday. The weather is lovely, the sun shines , jewel shines with her new songs, so what should we worry? i think jewel will help me having a lovely summer, and for the first time we have a JEWEL SUMMER record.. I declare 2003 /2004 season official the jewel summer record season... hehe, 0304 impresses me much and jewel gets from me 10 out 10 stars for her new diamond record !!! Jewel you still are my number one hero, i wished i had used my words a little but more carefully lately when i was annoying the list. but i am human as well, and they do make mistakes sometimes, but i praise 0304 as the most remarkable and refreshing sound of jewel since she entered the musical scene... The book Revealing Jewel is also quite amazing with the illustrations, the panel writing style and the way people makes comments about the precious gem Jewel!
