Probably not...oh, and also that he sometimes passes some really bad wind but silly Jewel, dogs aren't supposed to eat fruit! As you can tell, I listened to that little interview Michiel forwarded the hyperlink for. By the way, Michiel, has your faith in Jewel prevailed? I suppose you're back in love with the blonde bombshell...I suppose if Ty and Jewel break up again Jewel can always turn to Michiel for a shoulder to cry on just kidding I'm glad she's back and happy I mean whatever she wants to do, single or whatever...doesn't bother me any just hope she's happy what I am babbling about? Oh yeah, the pics at jeweljk.com are cute this week...I love the way Jewel's face is so imperfectly beautiful...the odd angles and almost crooked nose and teeth and yet she's a goddess...it's amazing...expressive face, haven't checked out those pics in ages so glad I just did for the heck of it 'cause they're nice That's my babble babble for now, folks.....see ya later and be good :_) AMY http://www.cdbaby.com/emerman P>S. I'm warming up to the new stuff I even like 2 become 1 despite the cheezy title...why not? she's still a couple of original lines in there and I like the one something about a mood being a painting or something like that...very cool, Jewel :0))))))))) And I loved in C.P. the lines from Carnivore something about lavendar but I could only laugh in yellow or whatever gotta love those Jewelisms and all that fun stuff you're sister is a stockbroker but you ain't nuthin' but a turtleneck hee heee nail 'em, jewel ;) You tell 'em!!! ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 15 May 2003 09:02:53 +1000 From: Stephen Hallowes Subject: [EDA] VH1 Feature: Jewel: Let's face the music and dance Hey guys There's a new Jewel feature here: http://www.vh1.com/artists/news/1471870/05142003/jewel.jhtml It's an interview and she talks extensively about the new record. One thing that interested me particularly - she talks about how certain songs can be interpreted ironically etc and she mentions "Doin Fine" as an example - a song that can be seen as very glib, but to her is also very sad. I'm excited about that because "Doin Fine" was my least favourite song of the clips, because it just sounded like the lyrics were going to be cheesy. The first line ("we are what everyone wants to be") got me thinking she was going in some kind of ironic direction, but the rest of the verse didn't give me that impression.... but the fact that this song is an example of "glib irony" makes me very excited about it's possibilities!!! They also mention that Fragile Heart is the song with the whistling solo, and they describe America as "deranged", marked by "tech glitches". How cool!!! This is so exciting! Another very interesting comment was that she says she feels very liberated having abandoned the Pieces of You-style for the time being. Anyway... read the article. It's good. Clear Channel really gives me the creeps. I wonder if they were listening to the lyrics of Intuition . . .
