So, it only makes sense that the promotion she does for 0304 will have the same effect. Starting next week with the Divas Duets and then after the record comes out and through June, Jewel will pretty much be consistently in the public eye. She'll also be doing all those radio festivals. So... my feeling is if we can keep Intuition at least ALIVE until then, those promotional appearances, plus the radio station concerts (stations hosting her will probably play the song more near the time of the concert.... Z100 is included in that, let's hope they do) will boost the airplay enough so that she at least makes the Top 20. Once the song is in the Top 20, it will probably just build on it's own momentum. But it's really important that we make sure the song doesn't lose it's bullet (start decreasing in spins) between now and when the record comes out. So call your local radio station and request it. This will not be as hard as it was for Standing Still. The song is an obvious song for pop radio to be playing.... we just need to bug radio stations. Particularly Z100 and KIIS. Another thing to do is buy the cd-single. It's only $3 or something, and if Jewel registers fairly high on the Hot 100, that might be another impetus for stations to play the song. And the third thing is MTV. MTV airplay is really crucial. We need to get her back onto TRL!! I'm going to post a list of radio stations to call and email to request... there's a really good one hanging around on the net somewhere. Remember, Z100 and KIIS FM are REALLY significant... so all you new york and los angeles fans - CALL THEM. And everyone else can email. Jewel deserves a hit - it's been too long. She only needs a little bit of help to get one... the song has done most of the work for us.
