My name is Ashley, I'm 21 and am originally from Chicago. I am so thrilled to have found a group of people as excited about Jewel and her music as I am. I've always been a fan of Jewel's music on the radio, but really got into it after buying This Way. After seeing her on tour last summer in Houston, I was hooked and bought her other three major albums as well as CDTD and proceeded to find everything I could about her online. I was so excited today to find Bits and Baubles, but I'd love to hear more of her earlier stuff if someone wouldn't mind explaining the Angelfood process to me. I'll be in Houston for awhile so I'll be at the KRBE concert later this month. If anyone else is interested in meeting there, let me know! Supposedly MTV and VH1 are broadcasting the concert on May 17th, as well as a behind the scenes look at the film festival. It's not just Jewel though.... Sean Paul, Norah Jones, Robbie Williams & The Roots are also performing. Steve. Just taking a quick browse around amazon, and decided to check out Jewels 0304 sales rank. There was a link to a UK sales list just under that, and 0304 is the second most bought album of people from the UK on amazon, second only to Coldplay's A Rush Of Blood To The Head. The overall sales rank, by the way, was 121. Looks like Jewel just might finally be getting a lot of European/UK coverage after such a long time of hardly getting any attention from them at all. It really seems like 0304 is going to get great sales, I'm just going to go out and guess that it will be something along the same sales as Spirit. Great success for Jewel, although I don't really care how much she sells other than that of her recieving such great success : ).
