More importantly, I've been a Jewel fan for more than 1/3 of my life... what kind of man-jewel-fan would I be if I couldn't let go of my manliness for long enough to try a razor that Jewel has all but recommended? :) James - -----Original Message----- From: Sandy [mailto:angeloflove@rogers.com] Sent: Saturday, April 19, 2003 2:44 PM To: James Brogdon Subject: Re: Intuition Razor > I don't believe that. :) > If I was still a razor guy I'd probably buy one... but I went electric about > a year ago... > > James you do realize it's a woman's razor, right? ;o) I plan on buying one as soon as I can, and it has nothing to do with Jewel at all, because it's not like the razor actually does... it's just because those things seem sooo damn cool, woohoo, no more shaving cream :) I hate disposable razors, and I spent like $15 on a razor once that sucked, but this one seems worthwhile, and the razor is only $10 canadian in stores here :) and...on the topic of price differences between the US & Canada... I'd never preorder Jewel's CD just to get the keychain, man... $17US before shipping?! the day it comes out here, I'll be able to go the store and get it for $13.99 or $14.99 canadian :oP ~ Sandy ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 20 Apr 2003 01:38:43 -0700 From: "Elizabeth Nguyen" Subject: Re: [EDA] RE: Intuition Razor <> I don't know about that, but I used a Mach 3 and it was a good razor! Forget about the Venus! LOL haha, yeah, as she said... there is actually a difference. I have the venus, and I've also had others, and one day I used my boyfriends mach 3, and they actually shave differently...mens razors work better, they tend to shave closer and leave less cuts! I think it's because, even though you'd assume they are just feeding you bull...men's razors are better equipped to shave with the contours of your face (and your legs for that matter) than a woman's razor is. I'm hoping when I buy the intuition razor, that it won't suck as bad as the venus one did that I wasted money on... since they are both buy shick, and it was crap, which was the reason I used the mach 3 in the first place! but those blades are expensive to buy, so it was back to disposibles :( ~ Sandy ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 20 Apr 2003 20:44:03 -0300 From: "Fabio (wnet)" Subject: [EDA] Tracklist!! Not once! I don't even use shaving cream (which intuition says it eliminates). Just take your time and anything can work. And they say to change blades often.a dull razor causes you to press down harder, resulting in more nicks. Anyways, just my 2 cents. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandy" To: Sent: Sunday, April 20, 2003 5:10 PM Subject: Re: [EDA] RE: Intuition Razor > > < > difference in the way a woman's razor cut hair.>> > > > > I don't know about that, but I used a Mach 3 and it was a good > > razor! I hope you guys don't mind me speculating on the titles, hehe... * 2 become 1 - Jewel Kilcher, Guy Chambers >hmmm... probably a pop love song. This title was not chosen innocently I suppose. This could be a parody of the Spice Girls' song or something like it. * Fragile Heart - Jewel Kilcher, Anthony Bell >this is supposed to be the least hip hop song on the album. I guess it's jazzy leaning, think I Won't Walk Away. Anthony Bell is a member of the A Touch Of Jazz family. * Sweet Temptation - Jewel Kilcher, Rick Nowels > I think it's is a saucy love song. I don't know, just sounds like it! * Unbroken - Jewel Kilcher, Rick Nowels > Fredsteve told me this song was written for This Way, so it probably won't be on the new album. Anyway, cool title. * Yes U Can - Jewel Kilcher, Rick Nowels * Yes You Can - Jewel Kilcher, Rick Nowels > Interesting to see it registered 2 times. They'll probably pick the Yes U Can, because of the hip hop feel (you know, U). Don't know why, but I think it's a love song, like, "yes you can kiss me" or something like it, hehe. * America - Jewel Kilcher, Lester Mendez > Man, I need to listen to this song!!! It's supposed to be soooo good. A sardonic view of America, that guy from the VH1 boards told us. Very upbeat. * Becoming - Jewel Kilcher, Lester Mendez > Supposed to be a beautiful ballad. I wonder what it talks about... Maybe it's about growing up. * Doin' Fine - Jewel Kilcher, Lester Mendez > This sounds like fun! Should be a great dance track!!!! * Free = Love - Jewel Kilcher, Lester Mendez > Another fun track, I believe. I like the comparison. * Haunted - Jewel Kilcher, Lester Mendez > Wow, a dark title. I guess it's a love song. "I'm hauted by you", hahaha! * Intuition - Jewel Kilcher, Lester Mendez > follow you heaaaaaaaaaart * Leave The Lights On - Jewel Kilcher, Lester Mendez > Sounds like a mid-tempo song with a latin feel. Hope not! Should be fun. * Run To You - Jewel Kilcher, Lester Mendez > Should be a love song. I feel a jazzy track. * Stand - Jewel Kilcher, Lester Mendez > this is the most difficult. What to say about it??? * Still of The Night - Jewel Kilcher, Lester Mendez > Again, what to say about it?? * To Love You - Jewel, Lester Mendez > hmm... a love song? hehe... Don't like much the title, reminds me of a Celine Dion song, hehe... * U & Me = Love - Jewel, Lester Mendez > what an incredible cheesy title!! hehe... I see it as another upbeat dance track. Jewel, please, change the title!! I'm very excited!! My favorite titles are "Sweet Temptations", "Yes U Can", "America", "Doin' fine", "Free = Love", "Haunted" and "Still of The Night". Alright, TALK people!!!! Let's have fun!!
