I thought it was really cool so I listened for results... UNFORTUNATELY Jewel lost with 29% of the votes. Then the DJ made the comment "I thought people woul dlike the shakira side of jewel". It is expected that she would lost at frist. I think this song may take some time to get hype. ALSO I was just thinking, I don't know if people will put the thought into it and get the meaning of the song, or if they will just think she is copying shakira to get famous. Which I think is really sad. I don't know though, I am almost posative that the video will do well needless to say. It sounds like it wil be a hit. But I just don't want people to think of jewel as the "shakira copyer". OH WELL. The writer did not like the album, she pretty much bashed it, but it was kind of funny to hear her talk about "Serve the Ego". I might be alone here, but I'm not a fan of perfectly straight "just got my braces off" kind of teeth for the most part. I think a little bit of crookedness gives people character.
