All of my emails concerning that contest call it that, as do all of the entries. (at least the ones I checked) Isn't that (Been Down So Long) what it's called in Spirit's liner notes? My copy is packed away for a pending move so I cannot check, but that's what MrBB's 1998 post announcing the contest says when it lists the lyrics directly from the liner notes. They're quite difficult to make out with Jewel in the way but some phrases I've managed to pick out are "Just a simple girl in...." "The powers that rule" "Follow your heart" "Sell your sin" "Won't be in vain" "You learn what's cool" Perhaps someone with a good photo editing package can do a better job than me. It is BEAUTIFUL. She looks very youthful, and the expression, just everything. THATS Jewel. And the cover for Intuition, its different lol. A whole new look for the new album, which is usual for her lol. (I loved her with jeans though.) It looks very dance-ish, and it REALLY reminds me of another singer but I can't put my finger on it. To be honest, I would've prefered her front on or natural pose, instead of twisted to the side, hehe. All I can say is that its really different, a very new look for Jewel, and makes me verrrrrrrrry curious of what the album is going to be like. I'm giddy and excited. And probably like all of us, a wee bit scared. But Jewel never dissapoints! I just can't wait to hear intuition, that should satisfy me a little until the new album. I just can't wait. So I don't really know what to think! But the picture on the book... Im just in love with. It looks very down to earth and natural... and extremely beautiful. So yeah, I can't wait to hear what Jewel has been crafting away at all this time! Peace, Mark _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8.
