I found the article very interesting because it talks quite in-depth about that whole "co-writing" conspiracy... where an artist gets a co-writing credit for changing one word in a song or coming up with a line or something like that. It's an interesting thing that's going on in the music industry more and more - trying to give these young stars more "credibility" by giving them co-writing credits... I don't mean to bash Avril Lavigne at all. If you like her, that's totally great. But I've been realising more and more that her success is as much a result of clever marketing as Britney Spears' success. It's all so contrived. The music industry is just sad.
