I've been on this list for a half year (or so) now and I'm starting to wonder if most of you have the same songs as favorites or that there's great diversity in the different favorite lists. Here are my ten favorites: 1 Foolish games (this will always stay my favorite I guess) 2 Deep water (especially the woodstock performance) 3 Who will save your soul (especially the long versions) 4 Serve the ego 5 Everythink breaks 6 501 beauty queen 7 Boy needs a bike 8 Studies in love 9 You were meant for me 10 Face of love By the way 'Pieces of you' is my favorite album although I also love the other ones. Your favorite album? Hope to get lots of reactions. - - Floris _________________________________________________________________ MSN Zoeken, voor duidelijke zoekresultaten! http://search.msn.nl/worldwide.asp ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 Jan 2003 05:55:18 +0000 From: "Amy Emerman" Subject: [EDA] SJC: Fwd: The Buzz Factor (Music Industry Collapse?) My weekend in Minneapolis was awesome. Everyone pretty much already said everything about the concert. I was really glad to see Kris there, it'd been awhile since we talked and even though we we are two other concerts together this summer, we always seemed to miss each other, but this time i found him right away! Its always awesome to see a friend at a Jewel show. It was neat to see Nedra there, it adds a specail touch to the show, but i'm sorry, i love jewel, but i find Nedra to be annoying at times. I thought she was especially great how she made a joke about selling her Jeweel tickets on ebay, and then she laughed about it for awhile and commented on how she thought her joke was so funny. I really was entertained by her joke for some reason! =) Meghan the opener was exactly like everyone said, every time she talked inbetween songs she was so annoying- every word and hand motion just seemed so fake. Maybe that means that she will succeed in the music business. But her voice was really strong. I was surprised she was only 13. Too bad she lacks any creativity. My favorite song of the evening was Carnivore, it was such an awesome version. She got the words really well especially since she was "trying to remember" it. I was astonished and awed to hear her sing the extra verse, the "my what big eyes you have...once you have a taste my love you'll never go hungry again" I didn't think she'd sang that verse since like '96! lol Otherwise her setlist was pretty standard to the rest of her solo tour. Also played Passing time. Although she played that during the Des Moines show i went to as well. Does anyone know what Jewel's shirt said? I was too far back to be able to read it clearly. She looked really cute. She was wearing a white tank top with black letters that said something i couldn't read on it, her big belt buckle, and some jeans that had brown leather strings that laced up the sides. Her pants covered her shoes. I liked her made up song at the beginning of the concert where she was making fun of the people that were coming in late. I thought those people were especially annoying and rude. She held up her opening song for them. That must really suck to walk out on stage and everyone is cheering, and you go to start your opening song only to see like twenty people in the aisles trying to find their seats in the dark. I thought the theater was alright, it had good sound. But some of the seats must have really sucked to sit in. Mine was really good though. I just thought the auditorium was so Minneapolis. A very modern place. Everything was a light sea green kinda color. It was my sixth jewel show, third solo show. It was a great show, and it was especially nice to benefit the Clearwater project. Glad I could help Clearwater by doing something I would paid for anyway. Also during the "women's expo" i walked around for a bit waiting for the auditiorium doors to open. Everything was already closed or closing up their booths. It just seemed like a bunch of businesses trying to market their stuff, but i thought it was notable to mention that Clearwater had a booth there. thanks for reading if you did. hugs*~ mandy ~*"But don't wander too far, my one constant star, darkness exists, except where you are, my feet are filled with wandering, they follow your own, cause everywhere you are feels like home" -jewel kilcher, last dance rodeo*~ ~*"Call me naive, but i believe, your two blue eyes are all i need" jewel, does anyone believe in love anymore*~ MSN- sparkly_stick@yahoo.com yahoo- sparkly_stick aim- daisie eda - -- __________________________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup Meet Singles http://corp.mail.com/lavalife ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 Jan 2003 12:11:14 -0800 (PST) From: Princess Lauren Subject: Re: [EDA] the Isaac Mizrahi show Did anyone happen to tape this?
