YES we know she is beautiful. thats a given, and any fool can see that. we are EDAs because we see beyond that. could i be more annoyed by the never ending beauty related posts from michiel... NO. they are so pointless, if you have read one you have read them all. hey, remember she sings songs? she has a mind? she writes awesome poetry, poetry that doesnt need a series of sexy pics with ty to sell! use your imagination. and to even consider her being in playboy or maxim would be a good thing is just disappointing. do you listen to anything she says? she has turned them down several times for a reason. its not her, its not comfortable for her, its not where she wants her career to go, she doesnt want to be associated with that image. she is an artist, and in that she gets so much respect. i have been to strip clubs, male and female, and i gained a ton of respect for them going to those clubs, i didnt think that would happen, but it did. but i know that is not going to be the outcome if jewel poses in those magazines. i wont know what to think. she will lose that mystery. she will lose that respect as an artist that i have set so high. i dont think at all that people who do those things are bad or people to be disrespected. but some people are made for that stuff and some arent. some people go right into that life and career, cus its what they want as a living. jewel has a career and a living and she doesnt need to show her tits to get more of what she already has. anyway, these posts about jewel being so beautiful are really annoying and i think they should stop, michiel. we know shes pretty, and sexy, and all that, but to hear it every day is a bit much. i kinda like the mystery that nobody really says how great she looks, but we just know that we all think she does, it doesnt need to be said. want to discuss something about jewel, comment on a lyric or something... but after it dont mention how fuckable she looked as she sang that song while you were standing next to her on stage at your 4000th jewel show, cus we dont care! was that harsh?...oooooh i like it that way! alisa - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8. I have occasionally read Maxim (its a great way to be mindless when your brain needs a rest from studying) I totally agree with Rob I would be disappointed if Jewel were to pose for Maxim or Playboy. She is an amazing singer and a beautiful woman. I too fell in love with her voice and thats whats kept me a fan, even when she did something I wasnt all that happy with musically. I am a guy and its hard not to 'look' at a beautiful woman, but I really try to keep focused on her music *sometimes she makes that REALLY hard* Please Jewel dont do a magazine like FHM/Maxim or Playboy. Most of the guys who 'read' these magazines are not nearly as cool as Rob, they dont respect you and could care less about your art or you in general. I doubt some of them see you as a person at all. Actually Alanis' third album (in her current incarnation as alternative rock or whatever) was an Unplugged album.. which went Gold. It was released at the same time as Joy, which went platinum. AND her latest album, Under Rug Swept, has gone platinum... but has only actually SOLD around 800 000 copies in stores, and is only the 77th best selling album of the year in the US, according to Billboard. Jewel is #42. I think that's very interesting... considering Jewel's album was released in 2001... and sold a good portion of it's copies over the xmas 2001 period.
