I'd just like to throw out a big thumbs-up to Bull, Jewel's sound man extraordinaire, for choosing Patty Griffin's unreleased disc, Silver Bell, as the pre-show music for this leg of the tour. It put a big smile on my face when I walked into the IU Auditorium for my first show of three, and I had to let him know how much I appreciated it after my last show at Merrillville. He said he was wondering if anyone would notice it, but I can't believe I was the only one. A Patty bootleg as pre-show music...I friggin' love it! If any of you out there have yet to check out Patty's stuff, get to it! She is absolutely amazing. Her voice and words will push every button you've got.
