For those of you who are participating in the BOTI cd tree (sorry, signup is now closed but it shouldn't be difficult to find trades in a month or so once the tree is winding down) J-cards are now available for your downloading pleasure! The URL is: http://www.shoplynx.com/jewel.htm The downloads are about 500k apiece, which is about 2 minutes with a 56k dialup connection and probably 2 seconds with cable. :-) You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader which is available in a free download if you don't already have it. The link to that is available on the J-cards website as well. Thank you to all who offered room on their servers for these downloads and special thanks to Lew for putting them up for everyone to access. I suggest printing them on high quality inkjet paper such as Epson's Photo Quality Inkjet paper for the best printout. The pictures, unfortunately, will print a bit digitized because they are all taken from websites, but I think you will like them anyway. Also, don't be confused by the b/w picture you will see when you arrive at the website....that is Lew's picture and is not from the J-cards. Enjoy! Amy PS - Anyone know if the term "J-cards" is accurate when speaking of cd's? Or is it only for tapes? Well, anyway, if it's the wrong term, tough! ;-) ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Sep 2002 20:58:33 +0200 From: "michiel van gorkum" Subject: [EDA] =?iso-8859-1?B?SmV3ZWy0cyBtb3N0IHN3ZWV0IG5vdGUgZm9yIG1lIE1pY2hp ZWwgaGVy?= =?iso-8859-1?B?ICJmYW1vdXMiIGR1dGNoIGpld2VsZmFuLi4uLg==?= ello jewelfans, Me is so lucky, because jewel signed my most special note !! i was thursday at my last jewelshow of 12... and jewel was amazing. i guess she did actually great job with the accoustic tour.... i gave her the this way europe cd and she was pleased with it and asked me to thank everyone on behalf of her.. she wrote me a personal message in my a night without armor book......michael.....i just read through the around europe tour cd....your note was really sweet thanks everyone for me..........it was nice to have you at those shows....thanks for your love and support......love jewel..... all written in my book a night without armor...... it was a great tour and i want to thank ed for taking so much care for me and being so nice jewel fan to travel with .... i will be back soon and scan the message for my site.. greetings, michiel http://www.jewelkilcher.myweb.nl/ a dutch site for jewel _________________________________________________________________ Chat on line met vrienden en probeer MSN Messenger uit: http://messenger.msn.nl ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Sep 2002 17:38:51 -0700 From: "Alisa Solovyeva" Subject: Re: [EDA] The EDA Importance I know this is a stupid question, but I just joined the list, so I can't say that I'm as hardcore as everybody else on here is, but I'm a fan enough to join, and happy to be here! All I had was the phone number on the Spirit CD booklet that I could call because I didn't have Internet access. Then I got my first job, and saved my first two checks to buy a webtv system for chat rooms, and to finally see the www.JewelJK.com website I had been wanting to see so badly. One thing led to another and I found this mailing list. And it makes me feel so much better that there are others out there as bad or worse than I am about Jewel. I'm not the same fan I used to be, I'm not so obsessed with her, but I love her just as much. What I'm trying to say is, I love Jewel, and I love this list, but lets not forget how awful it was before the mailing list and the website, it truly does enable me to be a much more appreciative and attentive fan that I could be before.
