I was thinking about that this morning. :) Anyway, did anyone else go to the 9/9 Livermore show? It was fantastic. We sat in the 2nd row, and were just blown away. (Not because the speakers were right in front of us, either. ) Go figure, though, that the first time I bring the liner notes to her CDs, she didn't forget the lyrics to the songs she sang. Ah well. Perhaps next time. ;) For one of the encores, she did this opera-type song... I've been a fan of hers since PoY. (Actually, I got PoY a week before Spirit was released, so...) I knew that her voice was amazing, but... Wow. That's all I can say. No other words come to mind. Oh, and! As we were leaving, we passed by a black limo, and the door was open, so we saw the driver. A few miles down the road on the highway, we were passed by a black limo -- and it was the same driver... so it makes me wonder if it was her, or maybe a decoy. Either way, it was kinda neat. In case it was her, I waved. Anyway. That's enough of my ramblings I think. :) Take care, all! I have been very busy with life in general and haven't seen Jewel live recently, but I like reading other people's accounts. She sounds like she is just doing such amazing stuff all over the world. I love Jewel. Occasionally I will check out the Jeweljk page and see pics of her looking so incredibly fit, beautiful and happy. She just radiates life, goodness and beauty. Her concerts must be out of this world. Whether she's rocking out or getting down to the acoustic basics....... eventually I'll see her in concert again, but for now, I'm just enjoying reading other peoples' reports of her. To see her live at a winery in California...that sounds so amazing (here I am in Nueva York). Anyway....I'm kidding about being jealous. But, to those lucky enough to be seeing Jewel play live in acoustic, small venues or even anywhere...lucky, luckY! :-) Amy _________________________________________________________________ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 16 Sep 2002 16:41:54 +0000 From: "Amy Emerman" Subject: [EDA] do you and like a rollingstone yes, that song is very dylanesque I've always thought that not that it isn't jewelesque...it is it's just also very dylanesque _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 16 Sep 2002 14:44:25 EDT From: Skye585@aol.com Subject: [EDA] Costal Cleanup Day I just wanted to let everyone know in case it hasn't been mentioned yet, that this weekend is International Costal Cleanup day.
