I got to do a meet & greet with Jewel at her concert in Houston and on my way out of the room, they had a table full of the TW singles, so I grabbed one. I found it interesting that in the producer credits for the single, Jewel's name is listed first and then Huff's name is after that, which of course is opposite the album producer credits. So, that makes me think Jewel was completely in charge of the remix and Huff got credit simply because he produced the original version and the vocals. So, maybe this is just a case of Jewel stretching her legs at the mixing board, experimenting and such. The only thing in the song that I think is really unnecessary are the birds chirping towards the beginning of the song, but it kinda fits Jewel's sense of humor and adventure to fool around a little, so I'm okay with it.
