And i chose to do testimonial... which is when they use a famous person to sell their products. And i, of course chose Jewel! :D my group member drew Jewel from my keychain and then drew some guitars all around. Our slogan was "if its good enough for Jewel, its good enough for america!" I'm gonna tell you all and maybe someone will like it and use something of it. Feel free to borrow this idea. The sun is rising. It's an old city (like in western movies). Jewel is in the bed with boyfriend. Jewel is awaken and caressing boyfriend's face, singing. During the chorus, Jewel is out to buy breakfast and walks down the street with bags and singing, while other men look at her, but she lows her head smiling and singing. Still during the same chorus she gets home, goes to her room and slowly opens the door, watching boyfriend sleep and say "this waaaaay". The 2nd verse starts with Jewel making the breakfast. It goes on and she is always singing. She takes it to her boyfriend in bed and wakes him up. Chorus: boyfriend smiles gently and sits to eat breakfast. It goes on until Jewel lays down on the bed saying "this waaaaay". Then it has some special effect and she's now at this beautiful camp under a full moon. She's laid and singing. Then, when that calm part starts ("say that you'll stay forever this way"), the boyfriend comes along the way playing his guitar and Jewel looks a little surprised and keeps singing. The last scene is both of them laid on the grass, staring at the moon and the guitar is by the boyfriend's side. Forgive me any mistake as I'm still improving my English... Anyway, any other ideas???? I am continually amazed and impressed with Jewel, and the way she's reaching her hand down to struggling artists who are in the same place she was in 10 years ago is just beautiful. Hi again Angels, When I was continually active on this last between 1999 and early 2001, I would get many many e-mails per day, especially in 1999. Has the popularity of this list decreased, if so, does anyone know why? Is this decrease in popularity shared with a decrease of interest in Jewel? I would have figured that with the great success of "Standing Still" that Jewel would be very much a topic of interest for many people today. I live in Pensacola, FL and I just have to say- you know what guys, there was a time back in the day when she toured several coffee houses back and forth on the east coast ONLY.
