I think the album version can do just as well as the remix. In fact, I thought the album version was already quite radio ready. Anyway, since I first heard the song I always thought the video would be something like Jewel getting up in the morning and her man is sleeping next to her. She goes to a mirror and she the words start. "love be still, love be sweet ..." Then it sort of goes into her mind. That, or she turns on a TV or something cheesy like that and she sees her relationship unfold. Then at the end she kind of snaps back to reality. I mean, the song is pretty self explanatory. I think the video doesn't really have to be complicated. Think about the videos which have done well where the songs are similar to this ... that is, slow love song types. Britney's "Not Yet a Woman" was a pretty simple video, Shakira's "Underneath Your Clothes" as well. Look I know the way I visualized this song is not award-worthy ... I'm not director. I just imagined it that way. Any other perspectives? I don't know how many of you have listened to this marvelous remix of This Way, but all I have to say about it is that........ IT ROCKS AND KICKS MAJORBUT!! LOL This has to be one of the best moves that Jewel and her record label have made in a long time! I love how they went back and overlapped her voice in some of the parts of the song. It just seems to add another dimension to the song. I know that I tend to be one of the quieter ones on this list, but I just had to break my silence to rave about this new version. BTW, It Rocks!
