It's pronounced Av-ril, like Advil kind of...not with the accent on the second syllable as Carson was trying to do...haha. I made a typo in my last post about the dates Avril would be on TV. Her Tonight Show appearance is NEXT Thursday, June 6...it wasn't tonight. Sorry about that. But she WAS on TRL today!!! And man did she kick some serious ASS! That girl really knows how to rawk. She sang Complicated flawlessly and Carson interviewed her for not one, but 2 segments....a total of like 10 minutes at least. He said her name wrong and then also said the wrong album title so that was funny, since she corrected him both times. He then read some supposed quote of hers about what she thinks of Britney. I won't repeat it here, but I'll just say it wasn't all that nice. But she said the media exaggerated it alot, however I don't think she particularly cares much for her based on her gestures during that segment. And by flat out avoiding the question of if she would ever tour with her...which I thought was a seriously stupid question for Carson to ask her. This was her first TV appearance ever...I think anywhere so that was really cool. She didn't seem nervous at all. And her band sounded alot better than I thought they would being so new and all that. She has this really cool "I don't give a crap" attitude about things. One girl asked her something and was like "Avril, since you're a celebrity now, blah blah blah...", and she answered "Well I'm not a celebrity..." first, then answered the question so I thought that was pretty cool that she isn't letting it all go to her head so soon. I hope some of you had a chance to see it today. Her CD comes out next Tuesday, June 4!!!!
