I had the problem, but figured out a solution since I did have the quicktime player. If you have quicktime player, I can let you know the solution. It's free for download, you have to go to www.apple.com and click on quicktime at the top menu. I just saw this special on VH1 today about him. They probably played it in honor of him. How sad. My mother even commented on how talented the guy was. I think, he was indeed one of Jewel's good friends. He did makeup for greats such as Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, he did the infamous Courtney Love makeover, Tina Turner, etc. He truly was a great makeup artist. I was actually gonna write in about how Jewel was on the special. I think it was a "TV Moments" episode, or one of those types of shows. Jewel was in two (or perhaps all) of those books. He always does Jewel's makeup for her videos. She's in his books for a sultry, sexy look and once for her "innocent" look and a close up picture of her eyes from the Down So Long video. so, wow. I was happy when I first heard that Jewel would be including unsigned acts on her tour a few months ago... but after hearing the extent of the program Jewel's trying to implement, I have to say I think it's AWESOME... one of the best things Jewel has done her entire career. And from what it sounds like - it was partially inspired by Living Room Concerts.... wasn't that an EDA-started thing? I wasn't around at the time... Anyway... I think it's great and I hope it's hugely successful! Steve ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V7 #201 ***************************
