Duuuh! Hey people, I think if Jewel released Serve the Ego as her next single, and made a really really REALLY awesome, tripped out video for it, it could be a humongous hit, cause it sounds like nothing she's ever done before. That song rocks! It made me sit bolt upright in my room when I was listening to it for the first time. You know that feeling you get when you hear a song that you really like and it really movies you? Yeah that feeling. No one would be expecting it, and people would love it. It might even get played on KROQ, egads! Just my 2 cents. but I'm telling ya people... ~~Richard Angel in Devil's Shoes http://cixelsyd.cjb.net/ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 5 May 2002 22:27:55 EDT From: JewelyBug02@aol.com Subject: [EDA] My EDA of the Week thoughts I have to agree with Amy on this one. I had heard of a crazy guy named Dennis, and realized that he was like the popular kid in highschool that everyone wanted to get to know and be friends with. Last summer, I finally met the infamous Dennis at the Pantene Provoice concert. I was very intimidated and felt the need to make this crazy guy like me. I spoke with Dennis inside the concert and he acted like he knew me forever. He gave him my beach ball to throw around the crowd, which he immediately dubbed me "cool" because I was the only one who would give their ball up. I again saw Dennis at Nashbash, when he was taking names to save the EDA's from heat stroke! It was so hot and he was so kinda to help everyone out by making a list so we didn't loose our spots in line. Dennis has such a kind and caring personality, and I am so glad that I know him. He makes being an EDA something to be proud of. So I must also add a second EDA who I feel is very very worthy of recognition. Amy Neufeld. Amy has to be one of the most caring and sweet people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She and I began talking shortly after Sept 11, and had many thing sin common. I go to NYC often to visit friends, and she lives a short train ride away from NYC in NJ. Amy picked my friend and I up at the train station, and took us to her beautiful home, welcoming us with open arms. We shared stories and thoughts for hours, and then continued to keep in touch. Now every time I go to NYC, I get together with my dear friend Amy, to get caught up and visit each other. In January, we had a great gathering in central park, and it had to be the best time I have had in the city yet. Amy is not only caring and sweet, but she is talented, and has done wonderful things. She is very committed to the EDAF, and does everything to be a positive role model. Amy you are amazing and I am so glad you are my friend.
