I was taking martial arts and ended up with a bruised rib for awhile and had to play a gig....it was entirely no fun. I seem to have the worst luck with gigs....so far, I've had to play that one gig with a bruised rib, two different gigs with food poisoning and another with a flu.....typical luck. Howdy y'all, I think I accidentally posted a message with no body, sorry. Anyways, Jewel says she is going to go ahead with the Europe tour, even though she can't play as well. Just one problem...even ONE broken rib can make it painful to breath, let alone sing. All I know is this...if Jewel is gonna sing regardless of the broken rib, she might have to take it easy and not excert herself. On the other hand, if she's still hurting and gives it everything she's got on stage, this will be an example of what her fans and her love for music mean to her. Howdy y'all, I read someone's post on how Jewel might cause herself a lot of pain or even more injury by performing while hurt, and at first I thought that maybe she shouldn't play if she's bad sick or hurt. Then I realized that if she's too badly hurt or sick to perform, she wouldn't do it. On another note, I read another post where someone said that Ty probably gets hurt, too. He IS a bull-rider, and that can and WILL hurt you, sooner or later, it is inevitable. In fact, that's why Ty was at Nashbash, making his secret appearance that surprised everyone, especially Jewel. TNN reported that night during the rodeo show that the reason Ty wasn't there was because he was slightly injured the night before.
